Development of National On-line Information Health Services Enterprise
Problem: A rapidly expanding NW healthcare benefits company, HealthChoice, Inc., needed to develop an online and telephone accessed service. The goal was to provide dependent and health care information as a competitive benefit for employees of regional and national corporations and for wholesale insurance carriers.
Solution: Catalyst Strategies led strategic development of business and marketing plans, managed budget, hired staff, supervised data base and business development.
Result: Successful start up service was sold to largest public employer in region within 8 months and expanded profitably to international markets before being purchased by Fleet Financial.
